18th Century. Found in Pennsylvania. Great rock maple wood retaining a nice untouched patina, carved handles, and nice dry red painted surface. Almost burl like. Incised initials and date of "1772" on bottom. Measures 23" long by 14" wide by 4 1/4" to 5 1/4" nice warped height. In very good condition.
