18th to very early 19th century. Vermont origin. Hand sewn, quilted and stitched pieced top in colors of red and blue checked diamond shaped squares with alternating solid browns diamond squares that where possibly originally naturally dyed green that faded. Backside is all solid light tan in color. With expected wear including some small holes, small stains, and edge fraying. Measures 80" by 78". Has a wonderful early look with a lot of warm character.
