Early 19th century. New England origin. Rimmed bowl with a great original mustard painted dry surface. Just the best! With nice dark natural patina in the inside. Paint goes over into the inside about 1 1/2". Retains original hole and string loop for hanging. With all this plus superb wear, this bowls has an incredible amount of warm character to it. Has one very old tight 2 1/2" crack that could be glued if wanted. Measures 13 1/4" to 14 1/4" out of round top diameter by 4" to 4 1/2" warped height. My favorite bowl.
