Made by and signed "Worked by Mary Thomas" and dated "1873". Stitched in vibrant polychrome wool threads on natural homespun. Motifs of different stylized geometric shapes, baskets, birds and a tree. In very good condition. Measures 14 3/4" high by 12" wide, in a wooden gilded frame.
