19th Century. German made and sold by the Shakers in their community stores located in New England and New York state. Finely woven with a nice naturally aged warm patina. Some splint damage and losses. Measures 10 1/2" long by 6 1/2" wide by 6" high, 10 1/2" high including the handle.
